Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide to support students in Vancouver, WA. The role provides instructional and behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department and may include helping with personal and mobility care as directed by health professionals.

The position is a Contract - Part Time with 30 hours per week, paying $25 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and CPR if applicable, plus health screenings as required by regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher or supervising designee.
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
