Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide to support students with instructional and behavioral needs in a school setting in Queen Creek, AZ. This contract full-time role provides meaningful support to the special education team under supervision by teachers and health professionals.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, compliance with standards of practice, and relevant health certifications (CPR if applicable, TB screening, and health certificate).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
