Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School Aide for a contract‑part‑time role in San Jose, CA. You will work with students needing instructional and behavioral support under supervision of the special education team.

The position involves assisting with personal mobility and therapy needs, 30 hours per week, and a pay rate of $20 per hour. Benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional

The School Aide is an individual who works with studentsrequiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision ofthe special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
