Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a School Aide to assist students with instructional and behavioral needs under supervision of the special education department. The role may involve supporting students with mobility and personal care needs as directed by health professionals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR if applicable, and be able to meet all federal, state and local requirements. 18+ years old required.

Job Description

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
