Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide to support students in a classroom setting in Hartford, CT. Under supervision of the special education department and teachers, you will assist with instructional support and behavioral guidance, helping students stay engaged and safe during activities.

This contract full-time role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), current CPR if applicable, health clearance, and compliance with applicable standards.

• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Provides support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional
