Job summary

Kids Academy of Sheffield Lake in Ohio is seeking an experienced School Age Teacher/Float to join our team. You will select age-appropriate programs, activities, and curricula for children in our care, support current staff, manage scheduling and office supplies, and communicate positively with families.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare setting, with coursework or a degree in early childhood education or a CDA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of caring and nurturing children in a licensed educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rules
• Develop lesson plans
• Interact with children to support effective learning and socialization
• Consistent Communication with parents
• Participation in staff and training meetings
