Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in licensed childcare.
• 6–12 months of early childhood/classroom experience preferred depending on credentials.

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental and learning needs including IEPs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence communication tools to liaise with families and staff.
• Maintain a safe, well‑supervised classroom per policy and licensing.
• Document accidents and escalated behaviors per policy.
