Job summary

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone is seeking a Group Facilitator for the Brooklyn Warren Street location, Monday through Friday, 2:00p–6:00p. You will oversee day-to-day operations and the Warren Street Center school age program, including direct classroom operations under the School-Age Program Coordinator.

You will contribute to curriculum planning, staff development, parent engagement, and program operations, ensuring alignment with the center's mission and partnering with community

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in education or related field preferred.
• Effective communication with all levels required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting goals and methods for the school age program and plan timelines.
• Assess program quality and impact with leadership; develop staff.
• Implement center mission, philosophy, and curriculum across activities.
• Observe staff performance and plan staff development opportunities.
• Develop in-house staff training and pass on learning through teams.
• Record child progress, develop individualized plans and weekly lessons.
• Plan year-round curricula with regular meetings of staff and leaders.
• Act as liaison with caregivers and community to promote program goals.
• Collaborate with external partners to create educational enhancements.
• Identify resources and coordinate field trips to strengthen the program.
• Establish referral procedures for participant needs.
• Support administrative and program operations with committees and procedures.
