Job summary

Caliday is seeking a Teacher's Aide to support before and after care for school-age children. You will work with the Program Director and School Age Teacher to implement activities, ensure a safe and engaging learning environment, and maintain daily operations.

The role requires experience in childcare, strong communication with parents, and the ability to help deliver the Caliday curriculum while upholding safety and program standards.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have some experience in the childcare field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to support a structured curriculum and activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the management of the program space, ensuring compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations and company standards.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly environment for all children, parents and visitors.
• Assists with implementing age-appropriate activities per Caliday curriculum.
• Supervises children during activities and uses Conscious Discipline for behavior management.
• Communicates with parents about progress and events in a timely, constructive manner.
• Maintains classroom appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
