• Assists in operation of before/after care program for school-age children.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the management of the program space, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
• Provides a welcoming environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assists with implementing activities that are age-appropriate and engaging.
• Supervises children during activities and supports behavior management.
• Communicates with parents and staff about program happenings and updates.
• Maintains classroom appearance, cleanliness and safety.
• Identifies opportunities or issues and collaborates with staff to resolve.
• Keeps ongoing professional development and certification requirements up to date.
