Job summary

Caliday is seeking a Teacher's Aide to support the before and after care program for school-age children. You will assist in implementing activities, supervise children, and help maintain a safe, learning-focused environment in alignment with Caliday curriculum.

You will work closely with the Program Director and School Age Teacher to ensure high standards of safety, communication with families, and ongoing staff development. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to MSDE-OCC regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the before/after school care program space to ensure safety and compliance with regulations and policies.
• Create a welcoming environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Assist with implementing age-appropriate activities per Caliday curriculum.
• Supervise children during activities and use appropriate behavior management techniques.
• Communicate with parents about program happenings and updates.
• Maintain clean, safe classroom conditions and report issues to the School Age Teacher/Program Director.
• Keep up with ongoing certification requirements, including Continuing Education Credits.
