The YMCA is hiring part-time School Age Leaders for our School Age Program in Sacramento, CA. You’ll work as part of a team to support and supervise children, plan activities, and provide a safe, engaging environment.

This role emphasizes positive energy, collaboration, and a commitment to helping youth reach their potential. Must be 18+ and meet the program's background screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college units in ECE, Recreation, Developmental Psychology or related fields.
• Must pass Dept. of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.
• TB questionnaire or health screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in collaboration with the Site Director.

Responsibilities

• Teachers work closely with the Site Director to ensure the proper supervision of children.
• Responsible for planning and implementing recreational activities, homework assistance, snack, and enrichment opportunities that support children’s social and emotional learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college units in ECE, Recreation, Developmental Psychology or other related fields; Under 48 units would require you to pass a school district para educator exam.
• Must pass Dept. of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.
• TB questionnaire.
