Job summary

The YMCA of Superior California is hiring a part-time After School Leader for our School Age Program at Leataata Floyd Elementary School in Sacramento. You will help plan and supervise activities, assist with homework, and support children's social and emotional growth in a collaborative team setting.

Qualified applicants have at least 48 college units in ECE or related fields, are available 7am-9am and 2pm-6pm Monday–Friday, and can pass background clearances.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college units in ECE, Recreation, Developmental Psychology or other related fields.
• Available from 7am-9am, 2pm-6pm Monday – Friday, Mid shift (hours may vary).
• Must pass Dept. of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.
• TB questionnaire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children with the Site Director and ensure proper supervision.
• Plan and implement recreational activities, homework assistance, snack, and enrichment opportunities that support children’s social and emotional learning.

Qualifications

• Available from 7am-9am, 2pm-6pm Monday – Friday, Mid shift (hours may vary).
