Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Monroeville Elementary School. The position is part-time, non-exempt, follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon sessions. Pay is $14.50 per hour.

You will supervise children aged 5–12, deliver activities from the curriculum, and support a safe, engaging environment. Requirements: 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, health clearance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening.
• Must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and model positive behavior for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Morning Program: 6:45 AM - 7:45 AM
Afternoon Program: start time varies between 2:45 PM and 3PM until 6:00 PM

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
