Job summary

U.S. Marine Corps MCCS is seeking qualified personnel to support youth programs and community services. The incumbent will meet education requirements, maintain required health and background checks, and complete necessary DoD training and certifications.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential; duties include supervising staff and ensuring safety standards for youth activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in youth development, elementary or secondary education, family and consumer science (human development emphasis), special education, or other fields appropriate to the position.
  • Minimum of 18 months' experience working in group programs with children/youth; ability to lead junior staff; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must obtain and maintain Tier 1 background check with Childcare investigation.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and annual physicals; provide immunization evidence; complete DoD training requirements; certifications as required.
  • Maintain current food handler, CPR and First Aid certifications; may be required to obtain a government driver's license.
  • Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
