Job summary

Kids N Fitness of Decatur South is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our School Age program. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass background checks are required. Prior childcare experience is a plus. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with a pay rate of $17/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass all background checks.
• Childcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to substitute for any position as needed, including breaks and absences, and covering classroom duties before or after shifts.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and assist as needed under the lead teacher's direction.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and meet all physical requirements.
