Job summary

Caliday is seeking a Teacher's Aide to support the before and after care program for school-age children. You will work with the Program Director and School Age Teacher to implement activities that align with Caliday's mission and values, while maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have some childcare experience and a passion for fostering growth in children within a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Experience in the childcare field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of the before/after care program space and ensure clean, safe environment.
• Support implementation of age-appropriate activities per Caliday curriculum.
• Supervise children during activities and use discipline techniques as directed.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding daily happenings and concerns.
• Maintain open communication with team and school community.
• Ensure classroom appearance, cleanliness, and safety meet standards.
• Identify opportunities or problems and work with supervisors to resolve.
