Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our before and after school program at Park Elementary School in Columbia, PA for the 2026–2027 school year. The role oversees management, staffing, and regulatory compliance while delivering engaging activities for school-age children.

Ideal candidates have a degree in early childhood education or related field, with 1–4 years of experience with children, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 3 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Associate's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 4 years of experience working with children under 13.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Licensing Leadership: Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations.
• Program & Staff Leadership: Lead engaging activities, supervise children and staff, maintain safe ratios.
• Operations & Communication: Oversee daily attendance, registration, scheduling, and liaise with families/school.
