Summary

Pelham Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Adjustment Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and guidance to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The School Adjustment Counselor will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a nurturing environment that promotes student well‑being and academic success. This full‑time position requires a commitment to fostering positive relationships, as well as modeling and implementing effective strategies to support students' mental health and social‑emotional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• MA DESE certification or licensure as a School Adjustment Counselor.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or counseling setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning principles and mental health resources.
