Martha's Vineyard Public Charter School is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-centered School Adjustment Counselor to join our school community.

The School Adjustment Counselor will provide individual and small-group counseling, crisis intervention, family support, and consultation to staff. The counselor will work closely with students, families, teachers, special education staff, and school leadership to support students' social-emotional well-being, attendance, engagement, and success in school.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold or be eligible for Massachusetts licensure as a School Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker
• Have experience supporting children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting
• Demonstrate strong crisis-response, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Understand trauma-informed, restorative, and culturally responsive practices
• Be able to collaborate effectively with families, educators, outside providers, and community agencies
• Value student voice, inclusion, and the unique needs of a small, community-based school
