The School Adjustment Counselor / District Wraparound Services Coordinator provides comprehensive social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health services to students while coordinating districtwide wraparound supports that connect students and families with community resources. This is a full-time position with the counselor expected to work a school-year (183 days) schedule plus an additional 10 days. This position is split equally between elementary direct school-based counseling services (approximately 50%) and the development, coordination, and oversight of district wraparound services (approximately 50%). The position plays a critical role in removing barriers to learning, improving attendance and engagement, supporting student well-being, and strengthening partnerships between schools, families, and community agencies. This position focuses on counseling, crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and student advocacy. The counselor is also responsible for collaborating with school teams, supporting positive school climate, and ensuring compliance with district protocols and state regulations.
