Job summary

Motlow seeks a Coordinator of Scholarships & Federal Work Study to support Foundation scholarships, Federal Work Study, and the TN Student Assistance Award at the Chattanooga State campus. The role administers awards, verifies eligibility, calculates awards, and reconciles payments in accordance with federal/state rules.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, Business, Education) or similar; Bachelor’s preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and office applications.
Experience with student information systems (Ellucian Banner/Colleague/PeopleSoft).
Extensive experience in finance, customer service, or education settings, preferably postsecondary.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between federal work study hiring offices and the Financial Aid Office.
Manage verification, eligibility, and award calculations for scholarships and work study.
Monitor enrollment, documents, and awards in FERPA-compliant communications.
Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations and Foundation guidelines.
