Job summary

Brazosport College is seeking a Scholarship & Financial Aid Coordinator to oversee institutional, foundation, departmental, employee, external, and special scholarship programs from application to disbursement and reporting. The role also supports federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs and partners with the Brazosport College Foundation for donor-funded scholarships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in financial aid, scholarship administration, student services, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Administer institutional scholarship programs, donor-funded and other scholarships, manage cycles, eligibility, awarding, disbursement, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
• Coordinate scholarship operations and Foundation relations, manage application systems, fund setup, records, and reporting, liaising with Foundation staff.
• Administer financial aid programs including FAFSA review, eligibility, awarding, and maintaining compliance with federal/state/institutional regulations.
• Provide student advising and outreach regarding scholarship opportunities, deadlines, and resources; assist with orientations, workshops, and recruitment events.
• Prepare reports, audits, and data analyses; support compliance reviews and ongoing improvements in scholarship and financial aid processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
