An established industry player is seeking a Scholarly Communications and Copyright Librarian to support and educate the campus community on critical issues like scholarly communication, copyright, and open access. The Scholarly Communications and Copyright Librarian reports to the Director for Research Services and Information Literacy and is directly responsible for advocating for, supporting, and educating the campus community on issues related to scholarly communication, copyright, open access, and open education. The Scholarly Communications and Copyright Librarian is fully engaged with students, faculty, and staff, providing relevant instruction, outreach, and support for scholarship and creative works. The position has liaison duties to academic departments as assigned and will provide research help and information literacy instruction and help build collections for the relevant departments.
This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt, benefits-eligible position based in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Job Duties:
WORK SETTING: While this position works closely with students and usually requires an on-campus presence, the role does allow for flexibility to engage in some remote work, particularly when students are not on campus.
