Job description

We are looking for a scheduling supervisor to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

1. Identify primary requirements and responsibilities of the Supervisor of the clinical staff.
2. Deliver the highest standard of Home Care services through efficient and effective scheduling for agency employees and clients.
3. Handle agency personnel files and report to the Scheduling Supervisor.
4. Schedule Home Care, Home Health, Placement, DME, and Hospice services, including occasional private duty services, by matching clients and caregivers with input from the Program Director.
5. Recruit, screen, and hire the best teams; run new hire orientation for paraprofessional staff.
6. Maintain personnel files in compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
7. Assist with the referral and intake process for clients and verify third-party payer coverage as needed.
8. Run initial client visits, complete, and implement all required paperwork; review and revise plans of care with RN input as needed.
9. Work closely with office staff to promote positive and effective communication to ensure appropriate client care.
10. Promote compliance with agency philosophy, policies, procedures, and in accordance with state licensing laws and regulations.
11. Ensure the Home Care Plan is followed.
12. Oversee and document employee performance every six months; develop and conduct yearly employee evaluations.
13. Ensure a qualified alternate is appointed to act in the supervisor’s absence.
14. Provide on-call services after hours and weekends as needed or directed by the Administrator.

Qualifications

1. Effective communication skills with clients, families, caregivers, and administrative staff.
2. Confirmed leadership and interpersonal skills, with flexibility and the ability to work under high stress.
3. Passionate, ambitious, eager to improve, and computer-literate.
4. At least 2 years of experience in Home Care or related services.
5. Valid Driver’s License.
