Job summary

Emplify Health is hiring a Scheduling Specialist to ensure efficient appointment scheduling for patients. You will deliver excellent patient service and work with a team of providers to support care journeys.

This role offers a 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), hybrid eligibility, and on-site training in Onalaska, WI. The department is OB/Gyn, with strong growth and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year office experience with customer service responsibilities.
• Strong organization, phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Medical terminology and healthcare experience is a plus.
• Epic and healthcare systems experience desired.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduling Specialist! You'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling of appointments for our patients. What's Available:

• 72 hours bi-weekly (0.9 FTE), Full-time
• Shift: Monday-Friday, between 8:00am-4:30 pm, rotating day off every other week
• Location: On-site in Onalaska, WI for training
• Remote/Hybrid eligible. Hybrid eligible for residents of WI, MN, and IA with willingness to participate for onsite meetings and training as needed.

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients through providing the best first/last impressions with top level customer service.
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.
• Provide customer service to patients by helping schedule appointments

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 1 year experience in an office setting requiring customer service responsibilities
• Strong organization, phone etiquette, and customer service skills
• Medical terminology and healthcare experience is a plus!
• Epic and healthcare systems experience desired
