Position Overview

Are you a dedicated professional interested in building a rewarding career? If so, the Radiology Scheduling Specialist, Associate role might be perfect for you! The position is based out of the Quantum One Building in the South Side of Pittsburgh or in Erie at our East Bayfront location. After the initial orientation, the role will be remote.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional patient service, focusing on Service Excellence and first-contact resolution.
  2. Assist with managing scheduling center volume and performance, ensuring efficiency across calls, outreach, and online interactions.
  3. Stay current on departmental policies, procedures, and plan benefit designs.
  4. Guide patients on imaging scheduling, including appointment details, directions, and preparation requirements.
  5. Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
  6. Handle inbound calls, schedule exams, and manage patient inquiries professionally.
  7. Assist with account follow-ups, billing inquiries, and payment arrangements.
  8. Participate in training new staff and support team members as needed.
  9. Perform additional duties related to scheduling, registration, and patient support.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and PC skills.
  • Ability to make decisions based on circumstances and protocols.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Training and certification as a Patient Ambassador is required during the initial six months.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34
