You will lead scheduling operations from pre-construction through commissioning and manage a team of project schedulers to meet critical path milestones.

Responsibilities

EPC Project Management Consulting is actively seeking a detail-driven and strategic Scheduling Manager to join our team, supporting a high-profile hyperscale data center project on-site in Hanging Rock.

Position Overview

In this role, you will lead our scheduling operations from pre-construction through commissioning. You will be responsible for directly managing a team of project schedulers, driving master schedule development, and working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and executive leadership to ensure critical path milestones are met and schedule risks are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management: Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate a dedicated team of project schedulers, ensuring standard practices and quality control across all project timelines.
• Master Schedule Oversight: Oversee the development and maintenance of detailed, baseline-integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
• Critical Path & Risk Management: Perform advanced critical path and risk analyses to forecast delays, evaluate schedule impacts, and direct corrective action plans.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives to align procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning timelines.
• Change Management & Reporting: Evaluate the schedule impact of design and scope changes, maintaining earned value metrics and delivering executive-level progress reports and lookahead schedules.
• Resource Optimization: Oversee resource loading and performance indicators across trades (civil, structural, MEP) to prevent bottlenecks and ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Required: Proven track record of managing, mentoring, and directly supervising a team of schedulers.
• 10+ years of scheduling experience within data centers, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and planning analytics software (e.g., TILOS, Synchro 4D, or Power BI).
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing across civil, structural, MEP, and commissioning phases.
• Experience with schedule performance indicators, earned value analysis, and baseline schedule maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (AIA, FIDIC, NEC) and their schedule implications.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field preferred.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
