Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Scheduling Manager I to lead the scheduling function for its Industrial and Power Generation teams. This role develops resource-loaded baselines, analyzes variances, and ensures schedules align with contractual goals across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates bring 5 years of scheduling experience on large projects, PMI-SP/PSP preferred, and strong coordination skills with project teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years scheduling experience, preferably on large-scale projects.
• PSP or PMI-SP certification preferred; OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop resource-loaded baseline schedules for medium or large projects.
• Perform schedule updates and variance analysis with project teams.
• Conduct time impact analysis, float path evaluations, and delay assessments.
• Lead Pull Planning sessions with trade partners to optimize execution.
• Mentor and guide other schedulers on best practices and DCMA schedule health requirements.
