Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Schedule Manager I to lead scheduling for its Iowa Business Unit in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will develop resource-loaded baselines, perform schedule analyses, and collaborate with project teams to address scheduling challenges.

Responsibilities include leading planning sessions, mentoring schedulers, and ensuring compliance with schedule health requirements. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years scheduling experience on large projects.
• PSP or PMI-SP certification preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated initiative, judgment, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex, resource-loaded baseline schedules for medium to large projects.
• Perform periodic schedule updates and variance analysis with project teams.
• Conduct detailed schedule analyses including Time Impact Analysis and float path evaluations.
• Lead Pull Planning sessions with trade partners to optimize execution.
• Mentor schedulers and ensure DCMA schedule health compliance.
• Collaborate to address scheduling conflicts and risks with corrective actions.
