Job summary

WTS Energy in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Schedule Engineer to support the management team with project cash flow preparation and resource planning for heavy civil projects. You will develop and maintain CPM schedules and coordinate with on-site personnel to ensure alignment with project goals.

You will deliver Primavera P6 training to project teams, provide ongoing scheduling support, and assist in creating pre-construction and post-award CPM schedules.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 5+ years of experience in scheduling heavy civil construction.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and related scheduling concepts.

Job description

WTS Energy is recruiting for a Schedule Engineer in Norfolk , VG to assist the management team in the preparation of the project cash flow as well as assists the estimators in planning the resources required for the project, verify objectives, and sets up the WBS structure.

Requirements:

• Support field construction teams by developing and maintaining CPM schedules in coordination with onsite personnel.
• Deliver Primavera P6 training to project site teams when required.
• Provide continuous technical assistance related to scheduling software and project scheduling matters.
• Assist in the preparation and review of pre-construction and post-award CPM schedules in line with client requirements.
• Support project teams with implementing significant schedule revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel periodically to project sites to develop schedules, support schedule updates, and conduct Primavera P6 training for both field and regional office staff.
• Manage the procurement and allocation of Primavera P6 licenses.

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in scheduling heavy civil construction
• Proficient in Primavera P6 Scheduling Software.
• Familiar with a variety of construction concepts, practices and procedures applicable in the construction of major infrastructure projects.
