Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, MN is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for a 1.0 FTE day shift (Mon-Fri, 8a-5p). The role focuses on coordinating clinician and staff schedules, processing time off requests, and maintaining payroll-ready timecards.

Starting pay ranges from $23.18 to $34.77 per hour based on experience. Strong communication, computer skills, and prior scheduling or medical exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior scheduling experience preferred.
• Medical experience is preferred.
• Prior computer experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates/maintains clinician, locum coverage, hospital nursing, and staff schedules, including processing and logging time off requests.
• Coordinates schedules while adhering to PTO, absence, and other time off policies.
• Processes time off/change requests based on staffing needs.
• Coordinates with supervisors to fill open shifts.
• Fields requests for appointments and other short notice events.
• Processes seniority and other requests for time off.
• Processes timecards for bi-weekly payroll.
• Coordinates schedules for cross training staff.
• Tracks attendance issues and reports infractions to the supervisor.
• Prepares training schedules for new hires.
• Maintenance of the scheduling software system.
• Other duties as assigned.
