Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support access to services, manage registrations, and coordinate information across patients, providers and staff. The role involves handling multiple telephone lines, scheduling tests and procedures from doctor orders, and keeping schedules and reports up to date.
You will contribute to efficient patient flow and interdepartment communication, ensuring timely, accurate scheduling and discharge coordination as needed.

This position is approved for 48 hours per two weeks.
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for serving patients, providers, and staff in facilitating access to services, tests, procedures, etc. at the direction of the care provider. The Scheduling Coordinator coordinates the flow and exchange of information related to patients’ activity and performs registration and scheduling functions, as well as other clerical functions that meet the needs of scheduling.
Preferred:
Vocational training/certificate in any of the following areas: medical receptionist, office management and technology,
administrative specialist, etc.
