Responsibilities

• Schedule routine follow-up and treatment appointments; manage external referrals and consults; handle no-shows; answer calls; reschedule patients on bump lists.
• Ensure delivery of quality services through adherence to policies, procedures, protocols, and standards.
• Communicate with patients and visitors in a caring and respectful manner; collaborate with care team and anticipate needs for coordinated patient care.
• Utilize and maintain the patient electronic medical record.
• Support ongoing quality improvement to provide efficient, cost-effective care.
• Engage in continuous education to maintain skills and competency for the role.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• One year experience in an outpatient physician practice or healthcare setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

1. Perform administrative responsibilities including scheduling routine follow-up and treatment appointments, managing external referrals and consults, handling no-shows, answering phone calls, and rescheduling patients on bump lists.
2. Assume day‑to‑day accountability for delivery of quality services through consistent application of policies, procedures, protocols, and standards.
3. Communicate with patients and visitors in a caring and respectful manner; collaborate with other care team members and anticipate their needs to ensure coordinated patient care.
4. Utilize and maintain the patient electronic medical record.
5. Assist with ongoing quality improvement to provide efficient, cost‑effective care.
6. Engage in continuous education and training to maintain skills, knowledge, and competency to complete functions of role.
7. Perform all other duties as assigned.
