Job summary

YA Group is seeking motivated individuals to join our construction scheduling team, focusing on Oracle Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject. The role emphasizes teachable candidates who can learn on the job and thrive both independently and in a team, with a strong work ethic and communication skills.

You will develop, maintain and finalize detailed construction schedules, collaborate with clients, monitor progress, analyze delays, and prepare impact reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in, or knowledge of, the construction industry is a plus.
  • On-the-job training will be provided; strong willingness to learn and curious mindset.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and organized electronic file management.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Strong integrity and professionalism; uphold company values and exceed client expectations.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team towards a common goal.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented; understand both specifics and broader project objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and finalize detailed construction project schedules using Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject.
  • Collaborate with clients to align on project scheduling and deliverables.
  • Create schedules from construction plans, project specifications, and client information.
  • Monitor progress, update schedules, identify schedule risks.
  • Conduct delay analysis of project schedules, documentation, and costs.
  • Review and synthesize relevant information to prepare comprehensive impact reports for project stakeholders.
  • Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
