Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Scheduling Analyst for the Resource Management Center to ensure staffing aligns with patient care needs. The role emphasizes analyzing trends, call patterns, and staffing requirements to optimize resource use.

You will generate capacity reports, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with clinics and departments to maintain high levels of patient and staff satisfaction. This position supports 24-hour operations and requires strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience in an office or call center environment.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments competently, accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders to maximize resource efficiency through the end-to-end resource cycle from schedule creation through precise placement.
• Analyze RMC trends, including call volumes, call patterns, staff productivity, attrition rates, and resource allocation.
• Create reports to be used for capacity planning within the RMC.
• Coordinate with other departments when outages occur and calls must be redirected.
• Provide guidance for team members, clinics, and other areas by creating a positive work environment to maintain patient and employee satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum one year experience in an office or call center environment required.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments competently, accurately and efficiently required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant scheduling experience preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with writing and updating reports preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred.
