Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate fleet ship handling simulators across San Diego and other Pacific locations. The role supports operational readiness for Navy training programs and requires precise calendar management, reporting, and liaison with fleet staff.

Candidates should have military scheduling experience, Navy navigation background, and strong MS Office skills; union PT status is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

  • Prior military related scheduling / training experience preferred.
  • former qualified Navy Surface Navigator or Assistant Navigator preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge and/or experience coordinating and scheduling events, with a track record of managing complex calendars and logistics.
  • At least three (3) years of experience performing clerical duties, demonstrating strong attention to detail, reliability, and discretion.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary scheduler for fleet use of ship handling simulators at multiple locations across the Pacific Rim—including San Diego, Everett, Pearl Harbor, Yokosuka, and Sasebo.
  • Coordinate and manage all event logistics, ensuring seamless training operations and effective resource allocation.
  • Prepare monthly training reports, accurately accounting for hours, and tracking contract deliverables.
  • Maintain training records in compliance with government contract specifications and U.S. Coast Guard training and certification regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with fleet representatives and training staff to ensure optimal scheduling and timely resolution of conflicts.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools to track, compile, and present scheduling and training data.

Position Overview
