Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day shift Surgery Scheduler to join our hospital team. The role focuses on delivering a world-class patient experience by handling phone, chat, and email communications and scheduling patient appointments using EPIC.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and prior experience in healthcare or call-center settings. Associate degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides a world-class patient experience through phone, chat, and email interactions and elevates satisfaction.
• Accurately schedules/reschedules/cancels appointments and pre-registers patients using EPIC for up to two specialty lines.
• Identifies and resolves patient needs to achieve First Call Resolution (FCR).
• Manages Average Handle Time (AHT) and QA scores to ensure quality interactions.
• Demonstrates dependable attendance and adheres to scheduled hours.

• Lovelace Medical Center (LMC), in the heart of Albuquerque, is an acute care hospital providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services. LMC recently acquired New Mexico’s first Intuitive da Vinci 5 ® surgical system, demonstrating its commitment to the most advanced technology available in minimally invasive surgery. LMC has 263 licensed beds.

Responsibilities

• Provides a world-class patient experience through positive phone, chat, and email interactions and continuously elevates patient satisfaction and experience.
• Accurately and compassionately schedules/reschedules/cancels appointments, pre-registers patients using EPIC, and aids in patient-to-clinic healthcare questions for up to two specialty lines.
• Identifies and resolves the needs of the patient to achieve First Call Resolution (FCR).
• Ensures an efficient and effective interaction through management of Average Handle Time (AHT) and Quality Assurance scoring (QA).
• Shows dedication and commitment to patients through dependable attendance and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook required. Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree or higher in a related field of study.
• 2 years of experience working in a healthcare field/role or call center environment.
• 1 Year healthcare background/experience and/or call center experience.
