Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Scheduler based in California, with the ability to travel to client meetings in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical path method scheduling using Primavera P6 and developing cost-loaded resource schedules for transit infrastructure projects, including rails, roadways, tunnels, water, and utility civil infrastructure. Water and wastewater infrastructure experience is preferred. A current Project Management Institute - Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification is required.

Daily Duties

1. Develop and update baseline and CPM schedules, review and analyze project schedules.
2. Create and maintain separate project schedules.
3. Prepare executive reports on schedule and budget status, supporting agency policies and procedures.
4. Implement coding structures and establish cost accounts for capital programs and projects.
5. Collaborate with agency staff to maintain project cost accounts and provide training.
6. Manage project schedules and budgets using Primavera P6.
7. Implement cost control procedures, including change management and forecasting.
8. Review cost estimates and develop monthly cost reports.
9. Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of scheduling experience with transit or water/wastewater infrastructure projects in California.
• PMI-SP certification is mandatory.
• Primavera P6 Version 8.3+ mastery, Primavera certification required.
• Experience in forensic schedule analysis for large civil projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience scheduling complex projects and managing progress reporting methodologies.
• Knowledge of delivery methods like Design-Build, CM/GC, and P3 is desirable.
• Ability to communicate technical progress effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong communication skills, accuracy, and reliability.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
