Plans the movement of materials through various manufacturing processes including receiving and warehouse departments to point of use in accordance with the master planning schedules.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arranges short and long term production planning of various manufacturing departments to include but not limited to Machine Shop, Plater, Valve Assembly, Hose Assembly, and Packaging departments.
  • Responsible for supplier scheduling of purchased parts.
  • Schedule entry and management of inter-plant transfer orders.
  • Serve as Customer Service liaison with corporate Customer Service Department.
  • Work with supervision and management to establish manufacturing priorities for both internal and external customers.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Inputting of purchase orders according to system requirements.
  • Set and manage schedule priorities with manufacturing and shipping personnel.
  • Expedite material shortages and delivery with both internal and external suppliers.

Performs similar job-related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in material control, inventory control and replenishment.
  • Understanding of material and inventory control procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Plumbing experience

COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English well
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
