Job summary

Scott Humphrey in partnership with a respected and growing nationwide General Contractor seeks a Data Center Scheduler to support large-scale Mission Critical and Data Center construction projects in McKinney, TX. This onsite role develops, maintains, and analyzes schedules to drive milestones and performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of scheduling experience on technical construction projects, proficient CPM skills, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to keep

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction scheduling experience.
  • Experience supporting Data Center, Mission Critical, Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or other highly technical construction projects
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules on projects valued at $50M+
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project controls, and schedule management
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, startup, and turnover processes preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage the master CPM schedule throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project progress, identify scheduling risks, and implement recovery plans
  • Perform critical path analysis and communicate schedule impacts to project leadership
  • Coordinate construction sequencing across structural, architectural, MEP, startup, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Lead scheduling meetings with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule
  • Support pull planning, look-ahead schedules, milestone tracking, and recovery strategies
  • Track procurement, long-lead equipment, labor loading, and productivity metrics
  • Create executive-level reports and schedule performance updates
  • Conduct regular site walks to verify progress and validate schedule accuracy
  • Support commissioning, integrated systems testing, turnover planning, and project closeout

Job description

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a respected and growing nationwide General Contractor seeking a Data Center Scheduler to support large-scale Mission Critical and Data Center construction projects in McKinney, TX. This organization values strong communication, collaboration, and proactive leadership while delivering some of the most complex and fast-paced projects in the industry.

This is a full-time, onsite position responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for large-scale data center construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, owners, engineers, and trade partners, you'll help drive schedule performance and ensure critical milestones are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the master CPM schedule throughout the project lifecycle

Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency with CPM Scheduling
  • Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
  • Procore, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (or similar platforms)
  • Power BI experience is a plus
