Responsibilities include developing and updating detailed Primavera P6 schedules, defining milestones and dependencies, performing CPM analyses to identify risks, and delivering progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3–10+ years of progressive experience in project or construction scheduling.
  • Proven track record managing schedule activities for multiple projects.
  • Thorough understanding of building construction means, methods, timelines, and practices.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, policies, and procedures for scheduling.

Broaddus & Associates is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to support a high-profile, complex Data Center program located in Fort Worth, Texas. This multi-building program requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing intricate construction sequences, tight deadlines, and multiple concurrent work streams within a fast-paced technology infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for independently developing, updating, and maintaining detailed construction schedules for mid-to-large-scale projects using advanced scheduling tools.
  • Define all project milestones, deliverables, and task dependencies, and actively monitors progress to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) analyses to identify schedule risks, monitor the critical path to prevent potential delays, and perform basic time impact analysis for change orders.
  • Prepare timely and detailed status updates, including both graphic and tabular progress reports, for presentation to stakeholders, and participates in schedule review meetings to align teams on timelines and address risks.
  • This role requires understanding, interpreting, and applying project contracts, policies, and procedures throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Candidates must possess 3-10+ years of progressive experience in project or construction scheduling and demonstrate a proven track record of managing schedule activities for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A thorough practical understanding of building construction means, methods, timelines, and practices is mandatory for independent work at this level.
Technical Skills
  • The role demands full proficiency in Primavera P6, including the ability to perform resource and cost loading, manage stored periods, and utilize advanced scheduling systems administrative functions (such as layouts, resources, and codes).
  • Proficiency using MS Excel, utilizing advanced functions for data manipulation, summarization, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and principles is required to support project performance reporting.
Additional Qualities (a plus, but not required)
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field, OR equivalent experience, is valued.
  • Desired candidates will have exposure to claims analysis or advanced change order impact evaluation, along with the ability to develop comprehensive cost/schedule analysis presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to articulate technical terminology clearly, and relevant certification (e.g., PMI-SP or AACE PSP) are considered significant assets.
  • Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced construction environment and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Experience with a general contractor or construction management firm is also considered a valuable asset.
