Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Illinois CNA certification in good standing.
• Preferably 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master schedule to ensure adequate CNA coverage.
• Schedule staff to meet residents’ care needs and changes in condition.
• Supervise CNAs and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide ongoing education and ensure a safe environment for residents.
• Coordinate Activities of Daily Living as part of care delivery.

As a Scheduler you are instrumental in ensuring our residents have enough staff in the facility at all times to care for their needs. Your work as a CNA Supervisor will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Joliet is by providing general supervision of CNA’s, conducting performance evaluations, providing education to CNA’s as needed, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.our work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at by scheduling employees to meet our resident’s needs, maintaining a master schedule and securing coverage for open shifts when needed. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be a certified nurse aide in the state of Illinois in good standing. Two (2) years of relevant experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
