Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Terre Haute is seeking a Staffing Scheduler to oversee the Nursing Department staffing in our 176-bed SNF, ensuring excellent resident care in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role covers scheduling PTO, call-ins, census-based staffing adjustments, and being on call as needed by the Director of Nurses and Administrator.

The ideal candidate has strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills, and experience with Smartlinx; a high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification, preferred.
• EXPERIENCE as a SCHEDULER/STAFFING IN a SNF or LTC Facility is a MUST!

Responsibilities

• Manage overall staffing needs of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.
• Scheduling includes PTO, call-ins, reduction in staff when census is low, etc., requiring strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task as staffing fluctuates with resident census.
• Scheduling position may require on-call duties as directed by the Director of Nurses and Administrator.

How you Will make a difference

• To manage the overall staffing needs of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations so as to maintain excellent care of all resident needs.


• Staffing includes scheduling paid time off (PTO), call-ins, reduction in staff when census is low, etc., which will require the position to have strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.


• Ability to multi-task in that staffing is directly related to resident census which can change quickly on a day to day basis.


• Scheduling position will have the responsibility of being on call, at times, which is determined by the Director of Nurses and Administrator.

What you Need to make a Difference

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.


• Current/active CPR certification, preferred

EXPERIENCE as a SCHEDULER/STAFFING IN a SNF or LTC Facility is a MUST!

Intermediate to Advanced Skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

Smartlinx Experience a big plus!
