Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Terre Haute seeks a dedicated Staffing Scheduler to oversee nursing department staffing in a SNF/LTC setting. You will handle PTO scheduling, call-ins, and census-driven staffing adjustments while maintaining excellent resident care and strong customer service.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook skills. Experience with Smartlinx and CPR certification are highly valued; CNA/SRNA license is a plus. Terre Haute location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent related work experience.
• Current/active CPR certification is preferred.
• EXPERIENCE as a SCHEDULER/STAFFING in a SNF or LTC Facility is a MUST!
• Intermediate to Advanced Skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Smartlinx experience is a big plus.
• CNA/SRNA License Required, CMT is a plus!

Responsibilities

• To manage the overall staffing needs of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations so as to maintain excellent care of all resident needs.
• Staffing includes scheduling paid time off (PTO), call-ins, reduction in staff when census is low, etc., which will require the position to have strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in that staffing is directly related to resident census which can change quickly on a day to day basis.
• Scheduling position will have the responsibility of being on call, at times, which is determined by the Director of Nurses and Administrator.
