Job summary

Signature HealthCARE at Heritage Hall Rehab & Wellness Center in Kentucky is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage the Nursing Department's overall staffing needs in line with company policies and state regulations. The role requires coordinating PTO, call-ins, and census-driven staffing changes with strong phone etiquette and client-service focus.

The position emphasizes on-call responsibilities as determined by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing for the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations to maintain excellent resident care.
• Schedule PTO, call-ins, and staffing adjustments as census changes require, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and customer service.
• Ability to multi-task; staffing levels change daily and must align with resident census.
• Be on call as needed, per guidance from the Director of Nurses and Administrator.

How you Will make a difference

• To manage the overall staffing needs of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations so as to maintain excellent care of all resident needs.
• Staffing includes scheduling paid time off (PTO), call-ins, reduction in staff when census is low, etc., which will require the position to have strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in that staffing is directly related to resident census which can change quickly on a day to day basis.
• Scheduling position will have the responsibility of being on call, at times, which is determined by the Director of Nurses and Administrator.
