The Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), and NeuroRegistered Nurse Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the scheduling and preparation of patients undergoing cardiovascular, electrophysiology, and neuro-interventional procedures. This position serves as a central point of communication between patients, physicians, clinical staff, anesthesia, vendors, and supporting hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule procedures based on physician orders, clinical priority, and available resources.
• Contact patients to confirm scheduling, provide pre-procedure instructions, and review relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and perform required laboratory testing.
• Ensure necessary documentation, laboratory results, imaging, and pre-procedure requirements are completed or coordinated.
• Coordinate anesthesia coverage, additional physicians, surgeons, and other specialists as required.
• Arrange vendor and sales representative support for procedures requiring specialized equipment or devices.
• Coordinate with other hospital departments, including Surgery, Anesthesia, Echo, Radiology, Laboratory, and inpatient units as necessary.
• Communicate schedule changes, cancellations, delays, and special requirements to all appropriate team members.
