Job summary

Signature HealthCARE's Ridgely Rehab & Wellness Center in Tennessee is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to oversee the Nursing Department's workforce, ensuring safe and high-quality resident care.

You will handle PTO, call-ins, and census-driven staffing, with on-call duties as directed by the Director of Nurses and Administrator. A high school diploma or GED is required, CPR is preferred, and prior staffing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
• Experience in staffing or scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs of the Nursing Department in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Schedule PTO, call-ins, reductions in staff when census is low due to changes.
• Ability to multi-task as census changes daily in a fast-paced environment.
• On-call duties as directed by the Director of Nurses and Administrator.

How You Will Make a Difference

• To manage the overall staffing needs of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations so as to maintain excellent care of all resident needs.
• Staffing includes scheduling paid time off (PTO), call-ins, reduction in staff when census is low, etc., which will require the position to have strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in that staffing is directly related to resident census which can change quickly on a day to day basis.
• Scheduling position will have the responsibility of being on call, at times, which is determined by the Director of Nurses and Administrator.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred
