Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Kaneohe, HI is seeking a Nurse Scheduler to develop monthly schedules and daily assignments for nursing staff in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment.

You will coordinate with staff to obtain availability, maintain scheduling software, and handle patient records and related clerical duties while ensuring accurate and timely documentation and appointments. This role offers growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Healthcare field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year general office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with and obtains accurate information from nursing staff on their work availability and effectively communicates assigned schedule (daily/monthly assignments).
• Utilizes and maintains Staff Scheduling and Time and Attendance software.
• Performs various administrative duties relating to patient records and maintains effective and efficient clerical systems pertaining to clinical information.
• Answers telephone. Schedules and coordinates patient appointments. Ensures adequate supply of necessary forms and other items required to provide standard medical record documentation.

The Position:
