Job summary

Smile America Partners is seeking a Full-Time Scheduler in Farmington Hills, MI to coordinate dental visits for schools. You will handle high-volume calls, schedule visits up to six months ahead, and input data into our database while maintaining strong relationships with school administrators.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Word/Outlook/Excel, with excellent communication and a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior scheduling experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Typing 45 words per minute.
• Professional and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Contacting schools in multiple states/cities where we currently operate.
• High volume of phone calls/bookings per day.
• Booking and scheduling future dental visits (up to 6 months in advance).
• Input data accurately into company database to maintain records.
• Build relationships with school administration.
• Maintain list of contacts and updates schedule.
• Work with School Relationship Managers to manage visits.

We are currently looking to hire a Full-Time Scheduler located in our Farmington Hills, MI office.

Scope of Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to schools, schedule successful dental visits and expand our services to children in need.

Essential Functions

• Contacting schools in multiple states/cities where we currently operate
• High volume of phone calls/bookings per day
• Booking and Scheduling future Dental visits (up to 6 months in advance)
• Able to accurately input data and dates into company database to maintain records
• Excellent customer service, building relationships with school administration
• Maintain list of contacts, updates schedule
• Work with our School Relationship Managers to maintain and manage our visits
• Data Entry
• Create and run reports

Smile America Partners is the nation's leading in-school dental program founded almost two decades ago by two moms, who happen to also be dentists. The founders saw a tremendous need among underserved school aged children who did not have easy access to dental care and who often suffered from poor oral hygiene, tooth decay, pain and associated medical problems. Knowing that many parents could not take their children to the dentist due to issues including time off from work and transportation challenges, they sought to bring the care to the need. Tooth decay is the most common, and preventable disease among children, more common than asthma. In fact, each year, over 51 million school hours are lost due to oral health related issues.

Smile America Partners affiliates with state licensed dentists, hygienists and assistants who use state-of-the-art portable equipment to provide all services onsite, directly in the school or in a self-contained mobile dental facility on site at the school. If portable equipment is used, classrooms, auditoriums or other school venues are literally transformed into fully functional dental offices for the day. Our expertise, obtained through years of experience bringing mobile dental care to schools, as well as through our highly qualified staff, enables us to bring exceptional care with minimal disruption to the normal school routine.
